Our project was showcased at one of the leading green and circular economy expo. We talked about innovation and presented the project's achievements and results.
SUMPORT's communication leader, Institute for Transport and Logistics, represented the project at the expo Ecomondo in Rimini (Italy).
Ecomondo is the leading Euro-Mediterranean area green and circular economy expo. An international event with an innovative format that brings together all sectors of the circular economy in a single platform: from material and energy recovery to sustainable development.
SUMPORT was among the representatives from six Interreg MED thematic communities which presented their achievements and shared their challenges with private companies, local public authorities and international organisations. The event, titled "Empowering territories for a Sustainable Mediterranean" took place on Tuesday 6th, November 2018 from 14:00-18:00 (details of the event here). The sustainable mobility actions that are the focus of SUMPORT were in the spotlight in the session "Innovation for sustainability in the MED Area".
The Urban Transport Community had a stand in the Ecomondo expo, where many interested people stopped by to learn about what the commmunity and the SUMPORT project is doing to improve sustainable mobility.
