MED Urban Community final event in Malaga

The Urban Transport Community, including the SUMPORT consortium, got together for a final event, displaying the results of each project and discuss the future of the MED projects.

After almost three years of intense cooperation, the Urban Transport Community met one last time in Malaga, for the final event organised by the GO SUMP project on September 18th.

The MED Urban Transports community represented Interreg MED projects working towards achieving tailor-made sustainable urban mobility plans and solutions in the mediterranean area. The Community created advocacy, transferability and advocacy events to support SUMPORT and its sister projects in maximizing their efforts.

During this event, modular projects representatives have shared the main lessons learned and expectations for the near future as part of the Med Urban Transport Community.

One key output from the MED Urban Transport Community consisted in a set of policy recommendations - based on the experience and lessons learned from the modular projects - to support the transition towards sustainable urban mobility in the MED area. Read more about it on the Community website.

Finally, modular projects joined a marketplace, where each project had its own stand and discussed its results.
